Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information IceSell collects in the places below, what we use it for, where it is kept, and how you can ask to see or delete it:
- this website, icesell.app (including www.icesell.app), and its contact form;
- e-mail sent to sales@icesell.app;
- the lead forms we run on Facebook and Instagram (Meta instant forms);
- the download links for installation packages we send to customers (dl.icesell.app).
Information inside the IceSell workspaces we host for our customers belongs to each customer and is handled under our agreement with that customer; it is not covered here.
What we collect
- The contact form: the name, company, WhatsApp number, e-mail, phone and message you enter, plus when you sent it, which page and language you were on, how long passed between opening the page and sending (to tell people from bots), and your approximate country or region (inferred by the network provider from your IP address).
- E-mail: what you send to sales@icesell.app and your e-mail address.
- Meta lead forms: what you enter in the form on Facebook or Instagram, usually your name, phone, e-mail, company and the products you are interested in. Meta collects it first and passes it to us; for how Meta handles your information, see Meta's privacy policy.
- Download links: the time, IP address and file name of each download, so that we can confirm a package was downloaded only by the people we sent the link to.
This website uses no cookies and no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. The one exception: if you dismiss the "this page is also available in Chinese" note, your browser remembers that on your own device; it is not sent to us.
What we use it for
Only to reply to you, understand what you need, and introduce and provide IceSell. We do not sell your information, use it for anyone else's advertising, or add you to bulk mailings.
Where it is kept, and who handles it
- Cloudflare provides the network and hosting for the website and the contact form. A message from the form is not stored on the website: it becomes an e-mail that Cloudflare's e-mail forwarding delivers to our team mailbox (Google's Gmail). E-mail to sales@icesell.app is forwarded to the same mailbox.
- Cloudflare keeps short-lived technical logs of the website (such as the time and IP address of requests) to troubleshoot and prevent abuse.
- Download records and the contents of Meta lead forms are kept on our own server (Oracle Cloud, US West – Phoenix); leads go into our own IceSell workspace.
- We follow up your inquiry with IceSell: your details and our messages are kept in our own IceSell workspace, and their content may be processed by the AI providers we use, to draft replies.
- These providers handle the information only on our instructions. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country or region, for example in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Messages, e-mails and leads: until we no longer need them to follow up, and for at most two years. If you ask us to delete them, we do.
- Download records: server logs are rotated automatically and are not kept long.
What you can ask for
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. E-mail sales@icesell.app and we will answer within one month. If the law where you live (for example the EU's GDPR) gives you further rights, e-mail us as well and we will follow those rules.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS throughout. Only the colleagues who follow up on your inquiry can see your information.
Changes to this policy
When the policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
